The main hall is the central point of our camp site and as two sections that can be divided with sliding glass doors. The dining hall space (10m x 13m) is our main eating area for meals. We have a woodfire heater and evaporative cooling to keep you comfortable no matter what season it is. This area is usually kept set up with tables and chair as there are other areas avaliable if open space is needed.
The second half of the main hall is our Lounge Area (10m x 10m) but can be used as extra dining space for larger groups. With an open fire place, air conditioner, padded chairs and a 50inch TV you'll feel right at home. School groups can use our speaker/mircophone set up for talents shows or discos and can use our TV for movie nights.
The old horse stables are now home to our games room (7m x 9m) and open recreation room (15m x 9m). The "rec" hall as it's know is great when you want to get a large group all together, whether its for a wedding, church meeting or large group activity. The rec hall is able to sit approximately 120 - 150 people depending on how the chairs are arranged. The barn also has its own bathroom facilities.
The breakout room (7m x 8m) is a smaller space that can be used if just a few people on camp need a space to meet. Great for school retreats that want to break off into small groups or if camp leaders need their own private space for debreifing and other meetings. Fully accessible bathroom, heating and cooling, TV and kitchenette are all a part of our breakout room.
From a big game of capture the flag to a picturesque wedding ceremony, our oval (60m x 36m) has you covered. We use treated recycled water to keep our oval green all year round.
There's nothing like enjoying a nice summer evening around the BBQ. Our BBQ area is equiped with a large 6 burner hot plate and a wood fire pizza oven. It is adjacent to our shade sail area which is used as a meeting space for school groups before the start of activities.
For all you sport fanatics you can still hone your skills on our full sized basketball court or volleyball court while you're here at camp.
On prior arrangement with Log Cabin Camp staff, your group can enjoy the aura and warmth of a large fire late into the night. With tiered seatting to fit approximately 40-50 people and plently of standing room, it's a lovely way to wrap up a day at camp.
Our old horse arena is now an awesome place for group activities! Some popular ones include tug of war (we can supply rope), poison ball and group tag.
