We would love to welcome your group to the Log Cabin Camp - Homestead for your camp!
The Log Cabin Camp Homestead is situated on 7 acres located right next door to the main site and is a boutique offering for groups of up to 37 students and 7 teachers/adults.
The campsite is adjacent to beautiful forests and pine plantations, offering a lovely setting and plenty of opportunity for bushwalking. We have many activities on-site including a Flying Fox, Leap of Faith, Milk Crate Stacking, Possum glide, Archery, Initiatives activities, Clip and Climb, Trampolines, Night hikes, Billy tea and damper. Our staff run the specialised activities and all other activities are easily led by your own leaders with full instructions and equipment provided by us. There is also the opportunity to visit our main site to do one or two of the activities there (depending on programming of the group staying there). The Homestead Recreation room is equipped with a pool table, table tennis table and foosball table as well as some giant games.
Accommodation at the Log Cabin Camp Homestead is bunk style for students. (See photo gallery below). There are two leaders’ bedrooms with ensuites. In March 2023 a tiny house style cabin was added - perfect for a bus driver or extra teachers.
All campers need to bring their own bedding and pillows.
You would be welcome to make a site visit to see our facilities – we’d love to show you around.
We work with each group to design an activity program that suits their preferences and requirements and makes the most of their time on site. We operate on a sole occupancy basis, so your group would be the only ones staying at the Homestead.
