"We’ve been holding our annual Southern Cross Kids Camp (SCKC) at Log Cabin Camp, Creswick for 10 years now. We take about 25 kids with special needs and a team of 40 or so volunteers on a 5 day camp at Log Cabin. We love going there! The team really care for us - both the kids and our team of volunteers.
They “get” what we do and are accepting of our kid’s idiosyncrasies. They are helpful and always responsive to our requests. The facilities have improved out of sight in recent years. The food is always brilliant and available in seemingly endless quantities. We have fun!
Our aim is for the kids to have a safe week where they can build happy memories. Almost to a child, they do. The team at Log Cabin Camp make an invaluable contribution to our success."
"Our school recently went on camp with our Year 7 students to Log Cabin Camp, Creswick. All the students and staff had a wonderful time. The staff at LCC are very friendly, supportive and inclusive of everyone. They encouraged all of the students to step out of their comfort zones and catered for all abilities. This camp provided our students with activities and experiences they may never participate in again and gave them the self-confidence to succeed. Engaging activities, welcoming hospitality and delicious food. Overall, everyone left with a smile on their face."
